Product Manager - Mobile Google Display Ad Network
  • Responsible for multi-billion dollar mobile web display ad network, setting strategy and helping achieve double digit percent year over year growth through formats and ML model improvements.
  • Led transition of Flash ads to HTML5, turning a loss of hundreds of millions of dollars into a gain of hundreds of millions of dollars by transitioning spend from desktop to mobile.
  • Started and led the innovative formats team, which built new formats worth hundreds of millions of dollars annually.
  • Responsible for supporting over 50 engineers, analysts, designers, researchers, and analysts across 3 timezones and 5 offices.

  • Responsible for new feature sets and retention strategies that led to 30% month over month growth.
  • Led product strategy that has made Blendspace known as one of the easiest-to-use and most robust education tools - which still places #1 on the Edmodo (Facebook for Schools) App Store.
  • Blendspace won an award from the American Assoc. of School Librarians as one of the best websites for teaching and learning.

  • Received a Gold Star Award for reducing Excel's user feedback loop from 3 months to 3 days by creating new prototyping processes.
  • Reduced user interface development time on the Excel team by a factor of 4 by creating partnerships across the entire Office suite and consolidating codebases.
  • Considered a thought leader on the Excel team for Natural User Interfaces, including touchscreen tech and Kinect hardware.
  • Worked on Excel's UI Shell, Web API, Touch UI, Excel Surveys, Web Embedding, Excel Interactive View, and developer experience.
